Density Meters
Digital density meters measure density, specific gravity and other related values (I.e. alcohol%, BRIX°, API degrees) with high precision and short measuring time.
Measuring principle: A hollow glass tube vibrates at a certain frequency. This frequency changes when the tube is filled with the sample: the higher the mass of the sample, the lower the frequency. This frequency is measured and converted into density. Benchtop instruments are equipped with a built-in Peltier thermostat to control the temperature (no water bath required)
