Chiral HPLC and LC/MS - a family of columns making possible the resolution of an extremely large number of chiral compounds.

Chiral-AGP (373KB) The chiral selector is alpha 1-acid glycoprotein (AGP) immobilized onto spherical 5um silica particles. The protein tolerates high concentrations of organic solvents, high and low pH and high temperatures. The column can be used for direct resolution of enantiomers, without derivatisation and is suitable for an extremely broad range of drug compounds.

Chiral-CBH (323KB) is a patented HPLC column based on immobilized Cellobiohydrolase (CBH) onto spherical 5 um silica particles and is excellent for the separation of enantiomers of preferentially basic drugs from different compound classes.

Chiral-HSA (314KB) is an HPLC column utilising the protein Human Serum Albumin (HSA) immobilised onto spherical 5um silica particles. Enantiomers of preferentially acidic compounds can be resolved directly without derivatisation and the column is especially suited for the resolution of weak and strong acids, zwitterionic and non-protolytic compounds.

For drug-plasma protein binding studies using HPLC, columns based on HSA (Human Serum Albumin), AGP (alpha 1-acid glycoprotein), RSA (Rat Serum Albumin), MSA (Mouse Serum Albumin) and DSA (Dog Serum Albumin), plus albumins for other species are available.

RePeat
This unique solid phase extraction cartridge (SPE) is designed for repeated extractions of drugs from complex matrices such as plasma, milk, supernatants of cell cultures and fermentation broths. Being polymer based, they can be used over the range pH 2 - 13. Media volume is 25mg per cartridge. Click here for more information.

BIOTRAP 500
Biotrap 500 is a new biocompatible sample extraction column enabling repeated direct injections of plasma, serum, milk, supernatants of cell cultures, fermentation broth and other complex matrices into the HPLC system without previous clean-up procedures except for a simple centrifugation.

Columns for LC/MS
The demand for columns suitable for use with MS-detectors is steadily increasing. Smaller diameter columns offer many advantages, not only for the MS-user.
