For the last 32 years, Australian Special Products (ASP) and associated company, R M Bonnett & Associates (UK) have been in the design and development of a range of machines. Water pumps, pressure systems for aircraft, marine and caravan applications were the first products developed and this lead to the formation of ASP in 1992.

ASP is dedicated to the development of specialised laboratory equipment incorporating the latest in design, technology and safety requirements. All medium to large ASP products can operate under a variety of environmental conditions ranging from desert to tropical and have applications in marine, aircraft and laboratory industries. One particular feature is their ability to operate where there is 240V/115V AC or 24 Volt DC power supply available, with power failure notification and automatic switchover to alternative power source as standard. ASP products have been used in blood service laboratories for many years.

The latest product development of reciprocating and orbital shakers was undertaken in conjunction with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS), who have tested and approved the use of these machines in their laboratories. ASP would like to thank ARCBS for their contribution to and testing of this new generation of platelet shakers.
